Postcards from Xlendi Fishing Village

I’m sharing Postcards from Xlendi Bay with you today! Have you ever visited?

It’s a charming fishing village on the sister island of Gozo. Well, it used to be just a fishing village. The cliffs towering over the bay have long sheltered it from rough seas.

Walking up Xlendi Cliffs.

But that’s all changed.

No, not the cliffs — they’ve stayed the same.

It’s the village and the bay that are different. Nowadays, Xlendi is more bars and restaurants than fishing nets and fishermen.

Still, you can walk up to the top of Xlendi Cliffs — that’s where the first pic was taken. It was a bit of a blowy day, and I got a bit scared to go further!

The views from here are breathtaking as they are, so can you imagine them from the top?

The climb is around 260 feet high. So, maybe next time I’ll make it up there to show you the view — unless, of course, you’ve already been. If so, tell me: what did I miss?
